How to crochet lariat necklace By Fibreromance


Crochet lariat necklace

What do you need?
Crochet hook 4.00 mm
Yarn: Bernat Satin in green, yellow and white color,
(Or any other yarn suitable for hook size 4.00 mm)
Tapestry needle (to work ends in)
Scissors


Leaf:

Ch 7, to the third from hook, 2 DC in same, hdc, hdc, SC, SL ST to the last,
Ch 15, to the third from hook, 2 DC in same, hdc, hdc, SC, SL ST to the next,
Ch 22,
Repeat:* to the third from hook, 2 DC in same, hdc, hdc, SC, SL ST to the next*,
18 times or how long you want the necklace to be, then
Ch 22, SL ST to the  fifth from the hook to make a loop, SL ST next 7, ch 7, Make a leaf,
SL ST 16 times, ch 3, miss 2 ch, SL ST to next 13, ch 7 make a leaf, continue to the end,
Fasten off.

Center of the flower:
Crochet hook 4.00 mm
Yarn: Bernat Satin in yellow color

Work 15 SC into loop, SL ST to the first SC; work around on front loops only:
*Ch 1, SL ST to next* fasten off.
Work same in each loop previously made.



Petals:

Crochet hook 4.00 mm
Yarn: Bernat Satin in white color
Work on unused back loops on yellow part. Join white yarn anywhere.
*Ch 1, SC,HDC in same, 3 DC in next, HDC, SC , SL ST in same, * repeat 5 times around, 5 petals made, fasten off.

Multicolor structured scarf by Fibreromance








With brown:





Crochet hook size 4.0 mm
CH 194 (or number of chain divisible by 8 + 2 Ch for turning)
Row 1: SC do the second from the hook, SC up to end =192 SC, turn
Row 2: CH 2, *SC, CH 1, skip next st* continue to the end, turn
Row 3: CH 3, *DC do next SC, CH 1, * continue to the end, turn
Row 4: CH 4, *TR to next DC, CH 1* continue to the end, turn
Row 5: CH 4, DC into first space, * CH 5, DC into next space* repeat to end, turn
Row 6:  2 DC into first  3 chain space, CH 5, into same space work: 2 TR,2CH, 2 TR, 2 CH, TR, into next space : 2 CH, DC into next 5 chain space, 2 ch, into next space, work 1 TR, 2 ch, 1 TR tree times , repeat to the end, to second last: *CH 2, TR* 4 times, CH 4, TR to next, CH 4, DC to same, fasten off.

Join purple yarn:



Row 1: SC to the end, ch 6, join with SL ST on brown part, turn CH 1, 6 SL ST down chain (button hole),
Row 2: front loops only, SC to the first, *ch 2, skip 2 st, SC* repeat to  end of row, CH 1, SC to the first st in first purple st, ch 4 , SL ST to the first unused back loop st, *ch 5, skip 3, SL ST*, continue to the end, turn.
Row 3: *ch 7, SC to next loop* repeat to the end, join with SL ST, fasten off.

Join blue yarn to the brown part(row 3), ch 6-7, join in next row, SL ST, SL ST back, continue work:
Row 1:CH 3, SL ST do the SC, repeat to the end, turn
Row 2: CH 2, to the first space: *DC,CH,DC,CH,DC,CH,DC,CH, to next space SC, CH*,repeat to the end, SL ST to the last loop, fasten off.

Join blue: (to the corner of purple row, facing you right side)



Crochet hook size 4.0 mm
Row 1: *to each loop 2 SC, SC (into SC previously made)* 192 SC, turn
Row 2: CH 2, *SC, CH 1, skip next st* continue to the end, turn
Row 3: CH 3, *DC do next chain space, CH 1, * continue to the end, turn
Row 4: CH 5, *skip DC, DC  do next DC , CH 5, * continue to the end, turn
Row 5: CH 3, 2 DC into first  3 chain space, CH 1, into same space work: 2 TR,1 CH, 2 TR, 1 CH, 2 DC , 1 CH,  into next 5 chain  space SC, 1 ch, * into next space SC , 1 ch,2 DC, CH 1,2 tr,ch1,2 TR,CH 1, 2 DC, ch 1* repeat to the end,  to same, fasten off.

Work loose ends in. Crochet two simple buttons. Sew it on and enjoy!
